Liferea swallowed my feeds :(

I have been using Liferea as my feed reader. But recently I came up with a strange problem. Once I start Liferea I see that all of my feeds are vanished :(. Luckily I have made a backup of my feed.opml file. I came across this problem several times. Then moved to google reader but It is unable to do its best for me. Because I don't like to read them from the browser. I'm still searching for a good offline feed reader for gnome. Until then I'm using Liferea, but with backups.
